Freshman Polo Team Easily Defeated by Yale 1937 Squad

Harvard's first year polo trio received a severe setback Saturday at the hands of the Yale team, 10-4. Fred Ayer at No. 1, and Captain Winmill were hard pressed for the single tallies they garnered during the melees in front of the goal Royall Victor, at back, was one up on his team mates to lead the scoring honors.

Marked by long, hard shots from mid hall, the Eli Dominica, and Embee, galloped up and down the tanbark to riddle the Crimson defense to the tune of ten goals. Embee, at No. 1 was high scorer of the evening with four goals. The team as whole was outstanding for its fine, open playing and excellent mounting.
