In a debate tonight at 7.30 o'clock in the Lowell House Common Room, a Harvard team composed of George R. Farnham '36 and Milton L. Levy '36 will oppose two representatives of William and Mary College. The subject of the debate will be: Resolved: that the disadvantages of the NRA outweigh its advantages. The Harvard team will uphold the affirmative side, with Arthur N. Holcombe '06, professor of Government, presiding. John F. Carr coached the team for this debate. It has been decided to have no decision.
On Thursday, March 15, Asa E. Phillips, Jr. '34 and Frederick deW. Bolman '35 will engage in a debate with Smith College at Northampton, with Harvard upholding the affirmative of: Resolved: that a college education will keep you out of the bread-line.
