Harvard Students To Vote on Divestment From Israel in Inaugural HUA Election Survey
Eliot and Lowell Houses are by far the most popular among the class of 1937 according to a survey made yesterday of 200 Freshmen. With many members of the class still undecided about their future homes, 89 declared that they hoped to enter Eliot, and 54 were in favor of Lowell. The other five Houses trailed behind with only a few scattered votes cast for them. Most of the Eliot supporters wanted to live in this house because of the night lunch and the location.
Although many do not yet know their field of concentration, 39 said they would major in Economics, and 32 in English. Other leading fields were Bio-Chemical Sciences, History, and Government. One ambitious Freshman decided to live at the Ritz and major in diplomacy.
