The dedication ceremony of the new Cambridge fire station on the triangle between Cambridge Street and Broadway, which was set for yesterday has been postponed until Sunday, February 25, because of certain delays in the arrival of material for its completion. It is now planned to have a much more pretentious opening than had been scheduled, and arrangements are on foot to make the celebration fitting to the sumptuousness of the building. Notables of Cambridge and Boston are expected to be on hand to make the dedication speeches in honor of the occasion, and the apparatus will be moved into the station soon after the grand opening.
