Tryouts for the production of "Holiday," which will be given by the Harvard Dramatic Club in conjunction with the Barnswallows as their spring presentation, were completed last night at Phillips Brooks House, and the cast was chosen which will appear in the play on March 17.
Five men won roles in the production after a series of tryouts which lasted for three days. John C. Haggott '35, President of the Club, announced that the following men had received roles: Marston S. Leonard '35 will play the part of "Nick"; Donald Stevens 1G will play "Ned"; Henry W. Engel '35 will play "Edward"; Richard Sullivan '35 will play "Johnny"; and Frederick M. Miller '37 will play "Seton Cram."
The show will be presented at Wellesley. It was written by Philip Barry, and produced in New York City several years ago with Hope Williams in the starring role.
This will be the first spring performance of the Barnswallows that includes men in the cast, in former years this presentation having been limited to women. Tonight the Dramatic Club will hold its winter dinner in Eliot House at 6.15 o'clock.
