RIFLE CLUB ELECTS

Executive Committee Chosen At Meeting

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Former officers of the Rifle Club resigned at a meeting held last night and in their place an executive committee of eight was formed. Those appointed are: Albert Goodhue, Jr. '37, parkman D. Howe '37, Frederic H. Poor '34, Cornelius Van S. Roosevelt '37, Douglas C. Scott '35, Charles M. Storey, Jr. '37, and David Weld '34.

Permission has been granted by University authorities to use the new range in the basement of Memorial Hall so that regular practice may be held during the winter season. As a consequence of this, the club has decided to add to its usual schedule of 30 calibre matches a series of indoor 22 calibre shoots. Arrangements for these have already been made with other colleges and on Wednesday the first match will be held when a team of seven will shoot against Princeton. The hours of regular practice and the final preparations for the match will be announced in the CRIMSON on Monday, and it is expected that all interested men will attend the opening session on the new range.
