Presenting his country's views on "Japan and Naval Disarmament," Tadayoshi Yamada, Japanese scholar of Political Science at Columbia University, will give a talk sponsored by the International Council on Monday at 7.45 o'clock in Lowell House Common Room.
Yadama, who has been studying in the United States for two years, will explain the Japanese attitude on the naval ratio question and will compare it to the American Viewpoint as the has seen it during his residence in this country. This is one of several goodwill speeches which Yamada is making at his own expenses at various colleges in the East.
This speech marks the opening activity of the International Council for this year and will be the forerunner of several other talks on international affairs scheduled to be held after Christmas.
