Although Coach Wesley Fesler has not yet announced a starting line-up for the basketball team's opening game with Boston University, which will take place on Wednesday, he is expected to have the first team definitely decided upon by Monday.
Nor has Coach Fesler kept any combinations together in practice. He has two quintets at his disposal, a fall one, featured by Captain Dick Boys and the 6 foot, 5 inch Sophomore Ernest A. Gray, Jr. '37, and a fast one which stars Richard C. Erust '36 and George V. D. Comfort '36, who has returned from football, together with Graham K. Spring '36 and Richard G. Fletcher, Jr. '35.
With a three-fold purpose, the Junior Varsity team has been given up this year. A larger number of men are thus enabled to receive the coaching of Fesler, who is keeping 15 players this year instead of the customary ten. More floor space is provided in the gymnasium and more men are released for play in the House League.
