Benjamin C. Marsh, of Washington, D. C., Executive Secretary of the People's Lobby will speak on "Socialization or Chaos" at an open meeting of the Harvard Liberal Club on Thursday evening at 8 o'clock in the Lowell House Common Room.
Mr. Marsh has had considerable experience in legislative work, having been representative of the People's Lobby and similar organizations at Washington for over 16 years, and engaged in a similar capacity at Albany for eleven years before that.
The Lobby is a non-partisan organization headed by Professor John Dewey which is working for legislation at the National Capital to balance consumption and production by eliminating profit. Mr. Marsh this summer visited the Scandinavian countries, Russia, Poland, Germany, France and England, to see what these governments are doing on the People's Lobby program. During the fall he made a five weeks speaking trip to the Pacific Coast.
