In the excitement of the weekend, the Varsity soccer eleven failed to rise to its chance of winning the Intercollegiate championship and lost to Princeton 2-1 after a Tiger booter scored in the overtime period. Playing between 11 and 1 o'clock Saturday, the Harvard outfit lacked the punch which all champions must have and which the Crimson men have shown before, and the Orange and Black capitalized on the "breaks." The Varsity did not score until the fourth period, after Princeton had jumped into the lead in the third.
