86 NEW MEN ACCEPTED IN GLEE CLUB TRYOUTS

JOINT CONCERT WITH YALE GLEE CLUB ON EVE OF GAME

Retaining all veterans, the Harvard Glee Club accepted 86 new men in the quartet trials held last week, and turned away 32 aspirants for membership. The total number of men now in the club is 183, as compared with 225 last year, when 178 new men were accepted.

A trip to Brooklyn with concerts at the Brooklyn Academy of Music and the studio of the National Broadcasting Company in Radio City, will start the season for the singers. Sixty undergraduate members will leave by boat on Monday, November 26, sing at Brooklyn on the 27th, over the network on the 28th, and return that night. A joint concert with the Yale Glee Club will be held at New Haven on the night before the Yale football game. Fifty Harvard men will participate.
