PIERIAN SODALITY TO PERFORM IN DECEMBER

Wellesley College Concert December 2nd Inaugurates Series of Four Orchestral Programs

Four concerts will be given by the Pierian Sodality in December, Malcolm II, Holmes '28, conductor, announced last night. The first recital will be Sunday, December 2, at the Wellesley College Chapel, where the Sodality and the Wellesley Orchestra will be conducted by Mr. Holmes. G. Wallace Woodworth '24, conductor of the Harvard Glee Club, will be the assisting artist.

Wednesday, December 5th, at Lowell House, the Orchestra will make its second appearance. The third concert will be Wednesday, December 12th, at the Rindge Technical School, for the Christmas Basket Fund of the Inman Square Business Men's Association. At this time, the Orchestra will be assisted by the local division of the Instrumental clubs. The last recital before Christmas is to be an informal Sight Reading evening. This occasion is open to the Faculty, members of the University, and Radcliffe.

Mr. Holmes disclosed that there is in the Music Building, a fine Bull Fiddle, equipped with a bow, a book of instructions and a half-pound of resin, awaiting any musician who wishes to tackle the problem. He also said that the beat please of any student compoaer will be played at a concert in Paine Hall later in the year.
