8 Takeaways From Harvard’s Task Force Reports

THE CRIME

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

According to metropolitan newspapers a group of dissatisfied CRIMSON editors intend to start a rival daily paper called the Harvard Herald. Various reports state that the new paper has already received from wealthy Boston sources financial support amounting to upward of half a million dollars. For the past two days the self-appointed editors of the new Harvard Herald have been dickering with President Conant over the purchase of Memorial Hall, which they intend to use for the home of their new enterprise. Since the editors believed that the highest price the President could possibly demand for the Hall would not be in excess of fifteen dollars, they were at a loss to know what to do with the remaining five hundred thousand masumas which have been pledged by the "wealthy Boston sources."

Finally one of the most ingenious of the editors solved the problem; and so the Harvard Herald will announce in its first issue a magnificent and stupendous contest. To the member of the College who submits to the Herald the best 1000000000 word explanation of the "Wherefore and Why of Old Faithful, the Geyser at the East End of Wigglesworth Hall," will be given a five hundred thousand dollar prize.

If you failed in the Irish Sweepstakes, we suggest you try the Harvard Herald.
