As most eastern soccer teams were playing their opening games in the American Intercollegiate Soccer League, Harvard's booters waded through the mud to a 3-1 victory over Tufts on the Business School field Saturday.
Harvard tallied in each of the first three periods, while the Tufts ontilt was held to a single marker which came in the third quarter, when Lewis, star center, slipped one past Jonathan England '35.
The summary: Score--Harvard 3, Tufts 1. Goals; Clos, Lewis, Manheimer, Vincent. Referee: R. B. Mills. Time: 4 22-minute periods.
