As most eastern soccer teams were playing their opening games in the American Intercollegiate Soccer League, Harvard's booters waded through the mud to a 3-1 victory over Tufts on the Business School field Saturday.

Harvard tallied in each of the first three periods, while the Tufts ontilt was held to a single marker which came in the third quarter, when Lewis, star center, slipped one past Jonathan England '35.

Playing on the field behind the Business School, the Freshman soccer team managed to overcome the Tabor Academy ten by a score of 2-0. Von Stade and Simpson tallied the two Harvard goals.
