ITALIAN ACE BRUSATI IN FENCING EXHIBITION

TWO BOUTS FOUGHT BY MEMBERS OF ITALIAN BOXING TEAM

Although Captain Gian C. Brusati was the only member of the Italian fencing team on hand due to missed train connections, a number of matches were improvised between Harvard and American stars in order to avoid disappointing a large crowd which had gathered last evening at the Indoor Athletic Building.

The first outstanding match was between Captain Brusati and Miguel Capriles of the American Olympic Team, and following these came Joe Lewis of the Boston Athletic Association, captain of the American International Team, and Gilbert Kerlin '33, who prefaced their bout with the Grand Salut.

After a brilliant exhibition by John G. Hurt '34, last year's fencing captain, and Levis, the climax of the evening was reached with a furious but humorous duel between Levis and Brusati.

Sandwiched in between the fencing were two whirlwind boxing exhibitions between members of the Italian International Boxing Team.
