Three Veterans Report For Baseball at Initial Practice

Daily Cage Sessions Open to All Men, Freshmen or Upperclassmen

Thirty one candidates, three of them letterman, checked in for the first session of fall baseball practice yesterday. Captain-elect Dick Maguire led the list, with pitchers Bill Lincoln and Drib Braggiotti as the only other veterans.

The rest of the turnout came largely from last year's Freshmen and Jayvee outfits. Ken Hayes, who moved from the Jayvees to the Varsity infield toward the end of the 1934 season, reported for duty, as did pitchers Dick Walsh and Proctor Avon from the 1933 Freshmen. There will be daily practice throughout the autumn to give Coach Fred Mitchell a chance to look over some of the material he hasn't worked with before.
