The placid Charles again became alive with centipedes as the crew squads entered their fall training. Over 200 men have turned out for the Varsity, 150-pound Varsity, and Freshman crown.

Only two of the last year's Varsity eight have returned this year, but with last year's first Freshman crew turning out to a man, and the Leviathan daily bristling with the cars of aspiring novices, a formidable squad should be worked up before the cold winds descend.

No selections have yet been made of first, second, or third crews. The Varsity squad filled seven boats yesterday, while the 150-pounders and the Freshman used four and five shells, respectively.
