While Harvard's harassed H.A.A. officials shed briny tears at the loss of Saturday's game, and the loss of the goal-posts, Joseph Wright, head of the lost and-found department added a last touch to the desolate picture: he calmly produced from the debris of the aftermath a bull-dog--full-blooded, ferocious and uglier than Handsome Dan II.
This was Mr. Wright's contribution; and, without waiting for acceptance or rejection, he climbed into his car and drove off.
