BAND TO SPORT FLANNELS, BLAZERS THIS AFTERNOON

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

With the football boys blossoming forth in gleaming silken trousers, and West Point arriving soon to set Back Bay's heart aflutter with the dashing uniforms, the University Band has found it necessary to don four-in-hand ties of flaming crimson.

First inkling of the loss of the Band's sex appeal came in February of last year when Kay Warner, fair and buxom brunette of Harvard Union, left the Band-boys off her list.

But a new era begins tomorrow. With four-in-hand ties, white flannels, and maroon blazers (made even more romantic by the golden lyres on the pockets) Leroy Anderson sends onto the field a team of renewed and revitalized sex appeal.
