Departure Of Philbrick Necessitates New Committee

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

"Our main interest is to prevent police brutality, such as that which took place at the Karlsruhe demonstration last year", declared the National Student League at its first meeting of the year, which was held Sunday night at Kirkland House C-22.

The meeting was one for general discussion of organization. A new Executive Committee was considered, due to the fact that the former Executive Secretary, Allen K. Philbrick, '35, did not return to college this year. He was unable to get a scholarship.

Plans for the future activities of the club were drawn up, but no dates have yet been set.
