Semi-official sources yesterday revealed that Delmar Leighton '19, Dean of Freshmen, is being considered by the Board of Trustees of Lawrenceville Academy to fill the vacancy there caused by the retirement of the headmaster last June. It is expected that definite information will not be available until the Trustees have met in early December.
Lawrenceville is near Princeton and is equalled only by the Hill and Hun Schools in the number of men it sends to the home of the Tiger.
As an undergraduate Leighton was prominent as a member of the university crew and upon graduation studied at the Business School where he received an M.B.A. and later at the School of Education.
