Six lettermen return to Wes Fesler's basketball squad this year, and additions from last years' Freshman team give Harvard a team potentially as strong as the 1927 team which trimmed Yale 30-12.
The lettermen forming the nucleus of the squad will be Captain Richard C. Boys '35, Lawrence K. Grady '36, Robert K. Morse '35, Richard C. Ernst '36, George VanD. Comfort '36, and Herant J. Adzigian '36, Leavitt S. White '37, captain of last year's Freshman team, is also a valuable addition to Harvard hopes.
The first meeting of the team will take place on Monday, October 22, at the Varsity Club. The candidates will meet at 7.30, and Wes Fesler will have his first chance to look over the material from which he is to build this year's team.
Informal fall practice will begin on the Wednesday following this meeting and will continue on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, until the end of the football season, at which time regular fall practice will begin.
