Although carrying a weight advantage of 15 pounds per man, the Harvard Freshman football team was held to a coreless tie by a fighting Exeter Academy eleven in a driving rain at the Plimpton Field at Exeter last Saturday afternoon.

The doughty Exeter team, which last week gained a decisive 16-0 victory over the Yale freshmen, outplayed the inexperienced Crimson yearlings in every department, gaining six first downs to the latter's five, and having two scoring chances to Harvard's one.

Harvard had its one big chance in the opening period, when Dave Glueck, former Exeter star, crashed through to block a schoolboy punt on its own four-yard line, and Harvard recovered the ball on the 12-yard stripe.
