In the attempt to improve the spiritual as well as the intellectual culture of college students, approximately 70 members of the faculties of New England colleges and universities will meet at the Wellesley Inn, at Wellesley, for a conference on religion today, tomorrow, and Sunday. The group is assembled to give attention to the question, "Has religion a function in modern life; if so, what?" The conference has been arranged by a committee of which Kirtley F. Mather is chairman.

The opening session will be held at 8 o'clock tonight. Saturday morning will be devoted to four conferences, one of which will be led by George G. Wilson, professor of International Law, and will direct its attention to "The Function of Religion in International Relations."

The Conference will assemble for luncheon at 1 o'clock Saturday, at which William E. Hocking '01 will deliver an address. On Sunday morning a brief worship service will be conducted by Henry J. Cadbury.
