TRYOUTS FOR ITALIAN TRACK MEET DELAYED

Harriers Run Over Five-Mile Course On Saturday With Holy Cross Meet Coming Thursday

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Saturday's rain forced Eddie Farrell to postpone his tryouts for the Italian Meet. Weather permitting, they will be run off at 2 o'clock this afternoon in the Harvard Stadium. The meet will take place this Friday in the Stadium.

Undaunted by the rain, Jaako Mikkola's harriers took a five-mile run over the cross-country course. Two more workouts will be given them, and they will then rest on Wednesday in preparation for the Holy Cross meet to be held on the following day. There will be no time-trials until after this first meet.
