In spite of the fact that more Harvard men have registered for employment this year at the Student Employment Office than ever before, 60 per cent of them, a larger number than last year or the previous year, have been given work. According to the report of January 1, 1080 members of the University have applied, and 655 have found jobs.

In 1932, of the 1042 who applied, only 44 per cent, or 458, had jobs. In 1931, of the 1049 who signed up at the Office, 59 per cent, or 622, found employment.
