In one of the closest House swimming meets ever held, Eliot eked out a 32 to 30 victory over Lowell. Adams defeated Leverett by the one sided score of 44 to 18, in the other meet of the afternoon. The outcome of the Eliot-Lowell contest depended on the 20-yard relay which Eliot won by a scant three inches.
