While the Freshman basketball team was trouncing M.I.T. Freshmen 20-11 in a preliminary to the varsity-Yale clash, the Jayvee cagers overcame Tufts Junior Varsity 28-20 at Medford. These were the first games since vacation for both teams.
The undefeated first year squad showed considerable power and led their opponents throughout the game. Leavitt White '37 starred with five field goals and one free throw to his credit. In the Jayvee encounter more opposition was afforded the Harvard team. Warren B. Lovejoy '34 was high point man with a total of 12 points.
