150 POUND TEAM ABOLISHED

H.A.A. Puts Ban on Lightweights Due to Lack of Opponents

The 150-pound football team will be definitely abolished this fall, it was announced yesterday at the Athletic Association. Last year it was announced at the opening of the season that there would be no 150's, but the decision was later changed at the instigation of members of the team.

Since the Yale is the only similar team the lightweights can meet, it is felt that this one game is not worth keeping the team for. At Yale the situation is different, as there are four other colleges within a short radius which have 150-pound teams.

It is felt also that the abolition of the lightweights will add to the interest in the House teams, since most of the men who have played on the latter will now go out for their House teams.
