The Harvard Band will hold the first of its usual fall rehearsals tomorrow evening, when it is expected that a large number of candidates for membership will be in attendance. Of the three or four vacancies made in the organization last spring, only one remains unfilled, and there are already several applications for it. It is the intention of H. L. Stone '01, the leader, that the entire band shall accompany the football team to Philadelphia next month. To do this a fund must be raised, and with the hope of securing the necessary amount--about $300--subscription lists are to be started. Following a regular custom, the band will give a series of concerts during October and November in front of University Hall.
