MEM HALL CLOCK MAY BE SET BACK TOMORROW NOON

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The decision as to when the Memorial Hall tower clock will be set back to Daylight time has not yet been made. An assistant will be sent from the Maintenance Department either tomorrow noon or on Sunday morning.

Massachusetts will set back its clocks promptly at midnight, but the Maintenance Department has not been in the practice of doing such in past years. In order to perform the operation, the assistant must climb the windy cobwebbed stairs to the top of Memorial Hall's black tower and set back the yard-long hands of the clock itself.
