President Lowell will be honored at a farewell meeting to be held by the Associated Harvard Clubs in Cleveland on Saturday and Sunday, May 20 and 21. The event will be the thirty-fourth annual meeting of the association and will include 132 Harvard clubs from cities in the United States and several foreign countries.
In addition to President Lowell, the speakers will include Walter Lippmann '10, author and journalist; T. W. Lamont '02, banker; R. J. Bulkeley '02, United States Senator from Ohio; and C. C. Bolton '05, member of the House of representatives.
Formal meetings of the Associated Harvard Clubs will be held on May 20. At a joint luncheon with the Cleveland Chamber of Commerce, Walter Lippmann will speak. In the afternoon an executive meeting open to all members will discuss University affairs.
On the following day a picnic will be held at Kirtland Country Club for a day of recreation and informal meetings. The entire session has been reduced from three to two days for economic reasons.
