A window washing service, composed of students who made up the snow shovelling crew this winter, has been formed by the Student Employment Office, it was announced last night by J. M. Swigert, assistant secretary for student employment. Over 300 letters have been sent out, to prospective customers.
The employment office furnishes all the equipment, which consists of a red pail, chamois skin, sponge, and soap, and states that it will have a man on the job one hour after notification. The workers are to be trained by an experienced window-washer, and will receive $.50 per hour, with a minimum charge of $.35.
