STATE LAWS ENDANGERING PLANS FOR BEER IN HOUSES

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

A new difficulty in connection with the sale of the new 3.2 per cent beer in the University Dining Halls was seen last week with the final passage of state legislation regulating the distribution of the beverage. The bill contains a provision prohibiting sale of beer to persons under 21 years of age, and it is believed that this will make impossible the serving of beer either in the Union or the Houses. (No official statement on the subject has yet been made).
