CONSTRUCTION OF BRYAN HALL WILL START SATURDAY

Work on Gregory S. Bryan Hall, the new addition to Kirkland House, will begin on Saturday, it was announced last night. All the movable property of the Dunster House Book Shop, which now occupies the site for the new hall, has been moved to temporary quarters on Mt. Auburn Street, and wrecking crews will tear down the old frame house on Saturday to prepare the way for immediate construction work.

The Dunster House Book Shop will eventually be located on the ground floor of the new Advocate building at the corner of Mr. Auburn and Plympton Streets, but legal difficulties with the present occupants of the building have made it impossible to remodel the street floor in time for the Book Shop's occupancy.

Neither of the two stroekeepers who occupy the old structure now being remodeled for the Advocate have been able to find new quarters for their shops, and according to Massachusetts law tenants must be given two weeks' notice before being forced to leave their residence. The two weeks' period ended last night, and temporary arrangements have been made to accommodate both storekeepers.

According to the original plan, the Dunster House Book Shop was to have moved directly to the new building.
