Bethlehem, Pa., March 24--On the first day of wrestling at the National Collegiate Athletic Association championships in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, Captain P. O. Johnson '33 won both his matches, while Harvard's other representative, R. G. Ames '34, gained a bye in his first match, but was defeated by Brown of Northwestern with a time advantage of 1 minute and 44 seconds in his next bout.

As a result of decisive victories over Keller of Ohio State Teachers' College and over McCrary of West Point, Johnson advances today to the semi-finals, meeting Brindley of Ohio State Teachers' College.
