Joseph Francis Ferriter '34, of Brattleboro, Vermont, yesterday was elected captain of the 1934 Varsity basketball team. Ferriter played as a forward on the Harvard team this year. He was a member of the squad a year ago and won numerals as a member of the Freshman squad. He has been a member of the Freshman and Varsity track squads for the last two years winning freshman numerals in 1931. Ferriter prepared for Harvard at Choate School.
Abram T. Collier, II '34, of Billerica will be the Varsity basketball manager next year.
