Garber Privately Tells Faculty That Harvard Must Rethink Messaging After GOP Victory
Over the last week-end of the examination period, polo and squash are again the only minor sports to participate in outside contests.
After its surprise 13 1-2 to 1 1-2 victory last week over a favored Westwood team, the Crimson Varsity riders are expected to take over an outfit from the 101st, Cavalry tomorrow night in the Commonwealth Armory. The Harvard team has had a more auspicious record this year in the battle for the indoor crown than the 101st.
Three Squash Teams Play
Three of the squash teams will see action tomorrow afternoon. The match of the Varsity A team with the Union Boat Club, which stands just above the Harvard team in the Massachusetts A league, has already given evidence of being a closely contested one, since two matches have already been played, Robert Grant III, '34 winning his, S. E. Davenport III, '34 losing.
The Varsity B team plays the Union Boat Club on the home courts, and there is uncertainly as to the probable outcome, since both teams stand high in their league. The Freshman D team will meet the Union Boat Club at their courts in Boston, and although until last week the first-year men stood at the head of their division of the D league, tying with Dunster House, they will have to show up well to cope successfully with the experience of the club men.
