GRAPPLERS FAVORED TO DEFEAT TUFTS MATMEN

Crimson Has Slight Edge Over Strong Medford Team--Both Have Dropped Only One Match This Season

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Grappling in their last meet before the bouts with Yale, the varsity wrestles, now well on the home stretch of a successful season, take the mat against Tufts tonight at 8 o'clock in Medford, for an encounter that promises to be both fast and close.

Both aggregations have dropped only one game and have taken the rest by comfortable margins; but, if comparative scores be resorted to, the Crimson matmen have a slight edge, for they trounced M.I.T. 29-5, while the Tuftonians sailed through with only a 20 1/2 to 9 1/2 win. Outstanding for Harvard is undefeated Captain Johnson, while Lindberg, a wrestling football man, has left, a long trail of falls behind him for the other squad. Inasmuch as the Crimson and Blue do not clash until Saturday. March 4, Coach Gallagher's men have not yet reached their top form.
