At a meeting of the Harvard Dramatic Club last Tuesday night, Robert Breckenridge '34 was elected President and J. C. Haggott '35 Vice-President for the new season. At the same meeting John Cornell '35 became Secretary, and two men were elected to the Executive Committee. They were G. G. Johnson '34, and V. S. Hodges '34.
An Executive Advisory Committee was created by the club at the same time. This group will work in cooperation with the Executive Committee and will consist of Harvard alumul well known in theatrical circles. The members of this new committee are: Donald Oenslager '23, New York scenic designer; J. M. Brown '23, dramatic critic; H. T. Parker '39, dramatic critic of the Transcript, E. P. Goodnow '17, head of the Stagers organization at the Peabody Playhouse in Boston, and F. R. Hart '27, graduate treasurer.
Cornell yesterday issued a call for play manuscripts from anyone in the University. A prize of a plaque will be presented to the winner of the contest which will close March 15. The club will then produce the winning play during the coming season.
