With the completion of the second round of the Freshman squad tournament at the Linden Street Courts yesterday, the original draw of nearly 130 entrants has been reduced to 64.
At the same time, in a surprise upset yesterday, afternoon, E. R. Sargent '36, number one on the Freshman team, defeated Robert Grant '34, number one on the Varsity and recent winner of the Massachusetts State Championship of Class A, for the unofficial championship of the college. The score was 15-11, 15-12, 15-13.
For those remaining in the tournament there will be two playing days a week, for each round, beginning tomorrow. Two consecutive absences will constitute a default. Matches may be played at any hour from 2 to 6 o'clock. All matches will be two out of the three.

At 3.30 o'clock: G. R. Dennett vs. D. W. Brown, and C. H. Newton vs. Albert Flower.
At 4 o'clock: D. W. Meyer vs. P. A. Davis, F. E. Strobhar vs. J. O. Procter, F. P. Fish vs. Frederick Taussig, and Millard Humstone vs. M. S.. Leonard.
At 4.30 o'clock: S. L. Olinick vs. W. S. Picher, P. C. Staples vs. J. F. Kaowles, and G. VanD. Collins vs. R. M. Ballou.
