Kenneth Payson Kempton '12 was elected to the Advocate a associate member at a board meeting last night. Kempton is an instructor in English composition at Harvard and has charge of English A2. In a recent issue of the Mercury an article by him entitled, "Golf, a Poor Man's Game," was published.
At the same time the board decided to lower in quantity of accepted material the requirement for election to the literary department and to enlarge the size of forthcoming issues. A parody number will be put out this spring.
The date for the annual winter dinner was set at March 3, and of the spring dinner, at May 4.
