Pool Calls Candidates For Varsity and 1936 Teams Today--Prospects For Season Bright

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Prospective candidates for the Varsity and Freshman lacrosse teams will report to Coach Pool in the Trophy Room of the Dillon Field House at 4 o'clock today. Movies will be shown illustrating the fundamentals of the game and Coach Pool will outline plans for the indoor work. The squad will practice on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays at 4 o'clock in the Briggs Cage until the condition of Soldiers Field makes outdoor play possible. No experience is necessary.

Coach Pool, a former all American lacrosse player, succeeds Madison Sayles '27 as Varsity coach this year. He will be assisted by H. M. Myerson '32, exVarsity football player, who will also coach the Freshman squad. The first few weeks of practice will be devoted to fundamentals and stick-work.

The prospects for a successful season appear unusually bright because of the large number of lettermen who are returning. This list is headed by Captain H. M. David '33.
