Judging from turnouts the last two days, Coach Clifford Gallagher believes the prospects for both the Varsity and the Freshman wrestling teams will be unusually good this year.
Among the lettermen returning to the Varsity team are Captain Richard G. Ames '34, in the 175-pound class, Gridley Barrows '34 in the unlimited class, Richard M. Emory '35 in the 165-pound class. Harold Frankel '34 in the 118-pound class, Ernest A. Wye '34 in the 125-pound class.
Coach Gallagher and Assistant Coach Pat O. Johnson '33 are adopting the new practice of giving demonstrations of holds every day. These demonstrations will be held at the Freshman practices which take place from 2.30 to 4 o'clock and at the Varsity practices which take place from 4 to 6 o'clock.
The tentative Varsity schedule announced by Manager Elwood K. Salls '34 includes the following matches: M. I. T. on December 16, Tufts on January 13, Springfield on February 9, Navy on February 10, Columbia on February 16, at New York, Princeton on February 17 at Princeton, Brown on February 24, and Yale on March 3.
