Seven Seniors, James M. Eastbrook, Chester W. King, Henry G. Pearson, Jr., Carl A. Pescosolido, Harold S. Saxe, Gordon C. Streeter, and John C. Walcott have been appointed by the Student Council to form the Senior Nominating Committee to nominate Senior class officers within the next few weeks. At the same time the Council announced the appointment of David W. Lewis '35, and Franklin P. Whitbeck '35, as members of the Junior Committee to conduct the elections this year.

Two separate elections, coming at an interval of a week, will be held. In the first election, three Class Marshals, the Class Treasurer, the Ivy Orator, the Class Orator, the Odist, and the Cherister will be chosen. In the second election the officers to be chosen are the Class Secretary, the six members of the permmanent Class Committee, the seven members of the Class Day Committee, and the five men who form the Senior Class Album Committee.

The Class Secretary, who holds his office for life and who forms the chief connecting link between the members of the Class is probably the most important of the officers.
