LOWELL ACCEPTS POSITION ON "FOREIGN AFFAIRS" STAFF

President-emeritus Lowell has accepted membership on the editorial advisory board of the periodical "Foreign Affairs," according to an announcement made yesterday. He will replace General Charles G. Dawes who recently resigned.

Since retiring from the presidency of Harvard, Dr. Lowell has accepted an appointment to a Senior Fellowship and has succeeded the late President Hibben of Princeton as chairman of a commission to study the influence of motion pictures on children.
