FRESHMAN TEAM MEETS BULLDOG ELEVEN TODAY

CLOSE ENCOUNTER EXPECTED IN GAME AT SOLDIERS FIELD

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The Harvard Freshmen football team will meet the Eli yearlings today at 2 o'clock at Soldiers Field in the final game of the season for both teams.

The game should prove to be one of the closest and hardest of Freshman tilts. Harvard has been hampered by injuries all season, but will be able to present its full strength today. The Crimson goes into the game with a record of one victory, one tie, and three defeats behind it, but the one victory was over the Dartmouth Freshmen who trounced Yale 13-0, and the one tie was with Exeter which defeated Yale 13-7. However the Yale Fresh can boast of a victory over the Princeton Freshmen, and another victory over Andover which defeated the Harvard Fresh 7-0. The teams are nearly equal in weight, although Yale's line may outweigh ours a slight bit.
