Entering the Armory November 27, the polo teams will begin their indoor season with practice five days a week, the first game with the Commonwealth Club League being scheduled for Saturday, December 16.
Under Lieut. Charles D. Palmer's instruction, the Varsity and Freshman teams will work out on alternate days, allowing both squads to got increased attention and greater space. At a recent meeting of the Commonwealth club League, it was decided to organize three Harvard team, A, B, and C, in which the Freshmen will play. The Varsity and Jayvees, as well as a new division, a second junior varsity team, called the Blue Jays, will play in teams A and B.
With six games this year instead of four of the preceding year, the Varsity will have a full season of inter-league games. An increase in the number of games played by the Jayvees and the Blue Jays has also been planned, four games each being the present proposal. The Freshman team will play four or five games, getting thereby experience which will prove useful in the intercollegiate games in the Spring.
The intercollegiate season starts April first with games scheduled with Yale, Princeton, and West Point. It is expected that all squads will play at least one of these college teams during the Spring.
