I have seen your editorial in today's CRIMSON criticizing the Fogg Museum for not keeping our library open at night. It gave us very much pleasure in better times to have the library open at night for the benefit of the students, and it would now if we had the money to do it.

What you say in your editorial: namely.--"To keep the museum library open at night involves only the use of the electric lights for a few hours, and one attendant"--is not quite correct. It means not only that expense but also the expense of heating, which alone is figured at five dollars an evening, and unfortunately these expenses amount to a higher sum of money than our budget will stand.

It at any time during the year the money is forthcoming, we shall be only too delighted to open our doors as we used to. Director Edward A. Forbes.
