FIRST CONCERT MONDAY BY BRUSSELS QUARTET

Three concerts will be given in Sanders Theatre next Monday, Wednesday, and Friday evenings at 8.15 o'clock by the Pro Arte String Quartet of Brussels. There will be no charge for any of them and the public is invited.

The series is a gift to the Division of Music by Mrs. Frederick S. Coolidge who has sponsored many such affairs both in this country and abroad. The programs, which have recently been given at the Worlds Fair in Chicago, illustrate the development of the string quartet.

The members are: Alphonse Onnou, Laurent Halleux, Germain Prevost and Robert Maas. They will be assisted by Miss Olga Averino, soprano. The programs are as follows: Monday Quartet F major Op. 135  Beethoven Quartet No. 5, D minor  Chadwick Quartet C minor, Op. 51 No. 1  Brahms Wednesday Quartet D major  Franck Quartet  Carpenter Quartet G minor Op. 10  Debussy Friday Quartet No 2 F sharp minor  Schonberg Three Variations on a Theme C minor  Harris Quartet No. 3, Op. 22  Hindemith
